WHAT AM I WAITING FOR?
In this project, Leoni Jones explores her personal meaning of sustainable fashion that departs from a broad questioning. Both physical and visual experiments are created in which almost all of the clothing was designed by herself. The project regularly gave rise to a confrontation with feelings of powerlessness and failure. Feelings of uncertainty and doubt are central with the presence of a certain duality.
An investigation in which questions remained unanswered for a long time and in which the question 'What am I waiting for?' lies at the heart of this project but at the same time this open question also forms a possible conclusion to the research. In the magazine the viewer is taken along in her search for sustainable fashion.
